By Mario BavaFootballItalia The Nerazzurri have signed a record number of players in their first-ever World Cup campaign, with both Gonzalo Higuain and Marco Borriello on the books.
Gonzalo Higuaín, who will be playing in his third season with the Nerazzuri, will be one of the three players signed by the Nerazurri.
The 23-year-old will be joined by Marco Borrico and Gonzalo Castellanos.
Both Higuillas and Borrirosos are expected to make their first appearances for the Neras this season.
Both are playing at a high level and are very talented.
Higuillas’ performance at Euro 2016 proved to be a breakthrough season for him.
The Argentina international has made three consecutive appearances at the World Cup and has earned his place in the team of the tournament with two goals and two assists in four matches.
The Nerazor’s second signing of the summer is former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo, who joined the club in 2018.
Pirlo scored seven goals in all competitions for Juventus in his first season with Turin.
He was also named in the Serie A Team of the Year in 2016-17.
The club also announced the signing of Lazio’s Andrea Foschi, who has made 39 Serie A appearances for both Lazio and Juventus this season and was also awarded the Club of the Season award.
Foschi joined Turin on a free transfer from Juventus, but he will be available for Juventus this campaign.
Lazio have won the Coppa Italia in the last two seasons.
Juventus have won two Serie A titles in the past four years and will be hoping for a repeat of that success in 2018, when they hope to challenge for the title again.
